In the castle, Lech is preparing for the final battle
Gwinona, in mourning, bids farewell to her husband and knights
Then she stays only with the choir of virgins
Suddenly Lilla enters the chamber with the news that
A servant is waiting near the gate to trade the harp for her son
Gwinona gets furious and starts to strangle Lilla
After a moment dead Lilla falls to the ground
A choir of virgins starts to lament upon her corpse
Murderous queen decides to send the chest to Derwid
And wears an armor to join Lech’s army on the battlefield
Before the gate Ślaz demands the harp
Then the gates open and choir of virgins bring him the chest
With a statement that Gwinona kept the oath
He wears it on his shoulder and leaves to meet Derwid and Roza
When Lilla died all flowers withered and
Black veil covered the earth
Birds started to sing an elegy upon the land
Gaerea's first release of "Unsettling Whispers" was in 2018, and since, they dared define a "black metal" niche of their own, they dared to walk a new path and stir shit up a bit in the realm of BM, this album is a masterpiece and a milestone proving that it can be done, provided the band can pull it off, and they did, oh they did! Gloomy, dark, post-BM sludgy whatever, it's Gaerea, and this one belongs in my BC collection, the end. sachavonkarl74
