Marching through the corpses
With mouths full of bile
As a vendetta for invasion
On the fathers holy land
By devouring the flesh of the foes
They become immortal as gods
To destroy the parallel worlds -
The living and the dead
The Madder put a spell on the dead defenders and moves them
To the underground of the Holy Mountain - the Sleeping Knight
The warriors were lurking to reveal their true nature
Biada nędznikom, którzy w szranki stanęli z armią potępionych
Stacjonujących w podziemiach Giewontu
Wolves, snakes and ravens
Are their mercenary legion
The great army flows
From beneath of the mountain
By drinking blood of the foes
They become glorious as gods
To destroy the parallel worlds -
Heaven and hell
Warriors brought prophesied perdition
That will create the ultimate void

A captivating combination of genres – essentially proggy death metal. A seamless 60 minutes full of musical ideas. A little noodly at times, but I enjoy the clean guitar work. Lyrically, it sits somewhere between nihilism and humanism – anti-religion, but more broadly institutional than the typical metal fare. There's a relish to the violence against women imagery in "Slave" which I don't enjoy, but on the whole this album stands up to scrutiny from most directions. Certainly not run of the mill Luke

Dessiderium manages to truly say something from within, giving a voice to the truly indescribable world of deep depression, loss, and grappling with an unwillingness to continue on. This one-man visionary seems to have mastered the art of putting sounds to the exact feelings he and others have experienced, creating a unique yet highly relatable soundscape of both dread and sorrow. americaneurosbmlover66613
